Black Forest built the way it should be: moist chocolate sponge, layers of fresh cream, and juicy cherries, finished with real dark chocolate shavings rather than cocoa dust. The sweetness is kept in balance so a second slice is still enjoyable. It is our most-ordered cake, and the safest choice when you are feeding a mixed group and cannot canvass everyone - it is familiar enough that nobody refuses it and good enough that people notice. Starting at Rs 299 for 600g, it is also the most affordable way to put a proper cake on the table. Being cream-heavy, it is the least heat-tolerant thing we bake: for an outdoor event in summer, tell us your timing and we will advise.
